Sleeping patterns are a hot topic at playgroups all over. Every parent wants to know how they compare. Lets face it. No matter how precious your baby is, we want the little tike to peter out at the end of the day (and a couple of times during the day). So, we hear about the debate. We’re either allowing our children to self soothe, or we’re patiently waiting for them to drift off. Its an ironic situation either way. To teach a baby to self soothe, you must hear some curdling screaming and crying. It doesn’t sound the least bit soothing. Likewise, to hold or rock a baby to sleep can sometimes be exhausting, frustrating, and make the parent want to cry.

It seems that where ever I go these days, my baby slings always draw great compliments. It would do good to see more women carrying their babies in these fabulously efficeint slings and wraps.
I started with a simple blue sling with my first child as a necessity. It was one of those days that I knew that my back and arms might not make it without help. Those infant car seats are heavy and awkward, and you really need a place for baby for to nap comfortably. What better place than nestled in soft fabric right at the heart of mom or dad?
